Life and career skills are essential in the 21st century as they equip individuals with the ability to navigate complex and rapidly changing environments effectively. Skills such as flexibility, adaptability, initiative and self-direction enable people to respond to unexpected challenges and pursue continuous learning opportunities. Social and cross-cultural skills foster collaboration and innovation in increasingly diverse and globalized settings. Productivity and accountability ensure that individuals can manage their workload, meet deadlines, and take responsibility for their outcomes, while leadership and responsibility empower them to inspire and guide teams towards achieving significant goals. Integrating these skills into education prepares students not only for successful careers but also for meaningful and impactful personal lives.
In addition to the content, all students in this program will be required to read the following self development books, complete quizzes and engage in discussions. Engaging students in discussions about the selected books plays a pivotal role in shaping them into well-rounded individuals prepared to tackle the challenges of the 21st century. These discussions are designed to stimulate critical thinking, broaden perspectives, and foster essential skills that extend beyond traditional academic knowledge.
